Dr. Rana Kaleel grew up in the Virgin Islands where her supportive parents instilled in her a love for education. Raised alongside seven siblings, three of which are also doctors, Dr. Kaleel was immersed in an environment where the pursuit of knowledge and the desire to make a positive impact on people’s lives were cherished values. Her journey to becoming a dentist began at Wingate University, where she excelled academically and graduated summa cum laude. She went on to obtain her dental degree with Honors from the esteemed University of North Carolina Chapel Hill. She began her career treating children in North Carolina in 2009 before moving to California with her husband in 2013. She then obtained her AEGD certification from UCLA. Dr. Kaleel has since spent the last ten years serving the children of Southern California.
Dr. Kaleel’s understanding of the anxiety children may feel when visiting the dentist has shaped her approach to care. She goes the extra mile to create a welcoming and friendly environment, using her gentle demeanor and ability to connect with children to build trust and alleviate their fears. Treating her patients as if they were her own children, Dr. Kaleel strives to make each dental visit a positive experience. Dr.Kaleel collaborates closely with parents, fostering trust and working together to develop a solid plan for their children’s dental well-being. Outside of her professional life, Dr. Kaleel is a proud mother of three young children. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling with her family.

Dr. Kaleel also possesses an adventurous palate for trying new foods.

- Best Day EverThe simple answer is the day Dr. Kaleel’s kids were born. But she also is pretty partial to a time when she first saw Celine Dion in concert.

And here’s another fun fact: at the tender age of 10, Dr. Kaleel showcased her writing prowess by winning a nationwide essay contest, where she penned an inspiring piece about the most influential person.
